Title: Rosals
When words escape, flowers speak.
- Bruce W. Currie
They have no need of clothing, nor cosmetics, unlike us. They have been lavished by Mother Nature with the most extraordinary beauty, we are the fools if we don’t take notice. I believe they were created for us, for our pleasure.
It is Master Artist Claude Monet who said, “I PERHAPS OWE HAVING BECOME A PAINTER TO FLOWERS”. There is no more profound tribute paid than their ’immortalization’ done by one of the worlds most beloved and renowned artist. And, he is not alone.
I find myself likewise drawn to the subject of flowers. How i feel is best expressed by one of my favorite artists, Ms. Georgia O’Keeffe:
“When you take a flower in your hand and really look at it,
it’s your world for the moment. I want to give that world to
someone else. Most people in the city rush around so,
they have no time to look at a flower. I want them to see
it whether they want to or not.”

Title: Artist in N Carolina Garden
I sat under this beautiful tree, not long enough, wanting so much to linger on and to ‘live’ in it. I loved every moment i was there, immersed in a world that seemed almost perfect. Like it’s blossoms, i felt very much alive and wonderful!
“Like the musician, the painter, the poet, and the rest, the true
lover of flowers is born, not made”- Celia Thaxter

Title: Volcano Art Window Garden
This scene caught my eye and i knew i wanted to ‘freeze’ it, such as i have done here. I had a strong desire to be lost in that window that framed the red blossoms right outside. I dream of a meditation room overlooking those bunch of red fresh flowers, hit by the sunlight.

Title: A Collage of Pinks and Yellows
“Who can estimate the elevating and refining influences and moral value
of flowers with all their graceful forms, bewitching shades and combinations
of colors and exquisitely varied perfumes?” Fr. George Schoener
